A Well-Educated Generation for a Brighter Future
Education enables a person to develop themselves and achieve success in life. Education in Africa plays a great role in enabling a child to hold on to life in difficult circumstances.
UICT , as a humanitarian organization, develops projects that provide permanent solutions to Africa’s greatest challenge – education. In our exemplary educational institutes - that have been founded through your generous contributions and support- we house and educate children, especially orphans, who are in desperate need of food and shelter.
Through your kind efforts, thousands of African children are given the opportunity of attaining an education.
There are millions of children between the ages of 7-13 who have never attended school. Even if they are able to attend school, there are still millions of students who cannot complete their education due to insufficient infrastructure, high school fees or having to join the workforce to support their family. Unfortunately, those who do manage to graduate generally graduate painstakingly, trying to survive through serious difficulty and adversity.
One of the contributing barriers to education in these countries is that a large majority of the population does not have a full grasp over their official languages. This is a result of the lack of education from the youth, leading to deprivation of various beneficial information. This lack of accessibility prevents the majority of the population from possible intellectual and social improvement.
By sponsoring the annual cost of a child’s education, you gift them a more hopeful future, an opportunity many cannot dream of. Documents containing personal information of the recipients of the scholarship will be prepared and updated for the benefactors. Through this act of goodness, you will be supporting their education, bringing smiles to childrens’ faces in countries miles away.
